What. A. Weekend.
The Indy Author Event was such an incredible experience, and I wanted to take a minute to say THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by my table, talked books with me, picked up a book, scanned a QR code, took a picture, or simply stopped to say hello.
Seriously—you made my day.
There is something completely different about sitting behind a computer writing stories and then getting the opportunity to actually meet the people who READ them.
And I’ll admit it… book signings can make me a little nervous.
But once we started talking about books, favorite tropes, protective heroes, small towns, motorcycle clubs, suspense, romance, and all the wonderfully fictional chaos we love, those nerves disappeared pretty quickly.

📚 Two Names. Two Very Different Kinds of Romance.
One of my favorite parts of the event was getting to introduce readers to both sides of my writing world.
A. Gorman is where you’ll find the danger.
Protective heroes. Strong heroines. Motorcycle clubs. Crime families. Suspense. Redemption. Steam. And, of course, a happily ever after after I put everyone through hell first.
Anna Belle is where things get a little softer.
Small towns. Cozy communities. Found family. Sweet romance. Mountain inns. Coastal towns. And fade-to-black happily ever afters.
Basically…
Sometimes I want to write about falling in love in a beautiful little town.
And sometimes I want to kill somebody.
Balance. 😂

Writing can be a very solitary thing. Events like this are a wonderful reminder that there’s actually someone on the other side of these stories.
And that’s pretty damn cool.

There are a LOT of things happening behind the scenes right now.
New stories.
Old stories getting some much-deserved attention.
New covers.
New worlds.
More A. Gorman.
More Anna Belle.
And quite a few characters currently yelling at me to finish their books.
So, after an amazing weekend in Indy, it’s time for me to get back to work.
