I hope everyone is having a fabulous Friday! I have  weekend full of writing and editing. I’m trying to wrap up Loving With All My Heart this weekend. I think 20,000 is doable, with some redbull and vodka and coffee. Hahaa. I hope to publish this story in March. Fingers crossed!

I’ll have the set in stone re-release dates of Rules of Her Sins and Blackmailed next week. I’m so excited to get my book babes back out there!

So writing, writing, and more writing is my motto for the next three days because next week is revision of Rules…and I can’t wait!

If you’re looking for a YA read with all the FEELS, please read below. Southern Perfection by Casey Peeler, who is an amazing friend and author, is on sale! I loved this book. ❤

Have a great day and a wonderful weekend!!!

Synopsis:

Life is full of choices: good, bad, and ones you can’t control.

Raegan strives to be perfect in every way. Varsity cheerleader, honor student, and proud granddaughter of Dover Lowery. By day, Raegan is an over-achieving high school student, but at three o’clock, her real work begins.

What happens when appearances are not what they seem? Will Raegan be able to hold on to her life as she knows it, or will she be left all alone?

All of these questions are answered with one night, one song, one story, and one boy.

Who sucks at blogging?

This girl right here! Ahhhhhh!

Who didn’t win NaNo? Me! Ughhhhh!

I wish I was so much better at separating being an author and being an editor. When editing, it seems that the particular project I’m working on consumes my life. Leaving no room for writing. Editing is exhausting. After finishing a big project, I want to hibernate for a day or two. But I wouldn’t change that feeling for anything as I’m in love with editing. And I seem to have the same addition to writing. But why won’t they mesh?

Soooo what’s going on in the world of A. Gorman? Glad you asked! Rules of Her Sins is with the editor! Should be getting back edits late this week or early next week. And then the end of the month, Blackmailed goes to the editor. Both books are scheduled to release at the end of March and April! Woohoo! I’m currently halfway into two standalones, one being my NaNo project. I want to get that out soon, so at this time I think it will be self-published. I have an amazing cover designer and formatter ready to go when I decide!

But that will be decided at the end of the month or February!

Stay warm, friends!

Is what’s trending on my Facebook. I’m happy, but I’ll miss my trips to Cincinnati to visit Ikea. 😦

With that said… I wrote absolutely NOTHING in my Word doc for NaNo yesterday, and it felt AMAZING! As I wrote by hand instead. Today, I’m feeling it. But it’s okay. I think handwritten words tend to stick in your mind more than typed on a computer… Maybe?! I hope so…

I don’t have the slightest clue of how many words I wrote yesterday, but I’m sure it’s nowhere close to what I could have written if I would have typed it all to begin with. But where’s the fun in that?

I’ll just put this right here to remind myself why I thought it was a good idea to write by hand…

Hahahaa

I hope this finds you well!! Time to get my NaNo on… Or editing… Or rewrites.

The world of publishing is a never ending job… Or journey!

Who’s slacking on NaNoWriMo?!

This girl… And you know what? I’m okay with it. This weekend was the first kid free weekend the super hubs and I have had in a long time…

So what did we do?! Get your mind out of the gutters, ya pervs! We played Lego Indiana Jones! Ha! I love video games.

So to ending day eight of NaNo, my word count is 27,707. I’m projecting I’ll be finished this week, but if I’m not, that’s okay too! 🙂 I still have plenty of time.

I hope y’all have had a great weekend. All is well in the Gorman house. The Colts finally won (Who Dey Bengals!). 🙂
